The Stroke Association of Victoria Inc, in conjunction with the Lord Mayor of
Melbourne has invited all SAV members who are stroke survivors to enter
photographic images centred around life post stroke with a particular focus on
the positives of their recovery. The images can be anything within the realms
of the survivor's imagination and must be relative to their stroke recovery.
First Prize (Group) - $500
Second Prize (Group) - $250
Third Prize (Group) - $125
All winning exhibitors will receive
$100
The exhibition of photos is open to all SAV members who are stroke survivors and regardless
of whether they are a member of a support group or not.
All photos submitted must have been taken by a SAV stroke survivor, must be 20cm x 25cm in
size and accompanied by a short caption noting its significance to the recovery of the
stroke survivor.
The entry of photos in the exhibition is free and all entries must be received by 23rd April, 2010 at
our SAV Inc. Office, Room 7, Level 1, Ross House, 247 Flinders Lane, Melbourne 3000.
Judging will be performed by a Professional Photographer and the Judge's decision will be final.
On request, photos will be returned to the member's Group or they may be collected personally from
the SAV Office, by appointment (9077 1246).
Public entry to the exhibition will be by a gold coin donation.
