Jade’s personal passions have always centred on health, wellness and movement where she has committed to a number of sports and clubs over the years (with basketball and Aussie rules coming in as the favourites). Now, Jade likes to spend her free time participating in Crossfit with a weekend camping or winery trip for good measure.
Jade graduated with a Masters in Exercise Science and Rehabilitation in 2016 and has worked as an accredited Exercise Physiologist with client’s experiencing a wide range of health challenges.
As well as working for the Stroke Association of Victoria, she works as a research assistant at Deakin University on a project that aims to assist stroke survivors with returning to work after stroke.
Jade is passionate about supporting each person’s health and wellness journey. As the coordinator for the Newport Stroke Hub, she hopes to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all stroke survivors to share their experiences and partake in activities and opportunities that create a happy and connected life.
