Julian is a Chartered Professional Engineer and Senior Manager with 23 years’ experience in the rail, telecommunications and construction sectors since graduating with a UK Masters Degree in Civil Engineering. He has over 15 years of Project Management experience including senior project engineering experience in positions of full responsibility, as well as experience managing budgets, programs and risks in multi-stakeholder environments. Julian is a qualified Lead Auditor and Auditor of Quality Management Systems.
Julian has experience working for large multi-national organisations, tier one contractors and infrastructure owners, as well as working in the government sector.
In 1993 Julian saw first-hand the terrible long-term impacts of poor immediate aftercare to a stroke when his Nainnie (Welsh for Grandma) was badly affected by a serious stroke.
Julian has previously served as the Chairman of Rosanna Scout Group for five years.
Julian is married with two teenage daughters and a keen Hawthorn Hawks supporter. They moved to Australia from the UK in 2011 and were proud to become Australian citizens in 2020.
